Prayers for Mexico<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beloved Heavenly Father, Creator of all that exists, on this occasion and with all humility, we pray for the peace of our beloved Mexico, the peace that only you have the power to grant through people of goodwill. Our Father, who art in heaven and who does your will on earth as it is in heaven, we ask that you continue to give us the spiritual strength to continue serving our communities affected by HIV\/AIDS and tuberculosis here at Albergue las Memorias A.C. in Tijuana, Mexico. I thank God for allowing me to escape the hell of drug and alcohol addiction that for 25 years caused me to lose my family, freedom, and even my dignity. Today, it has been almost 30 years since I came to know God Our Lord and to serve with love my neighbors affected by HIV\/AIDS, tuberculosis, addictions, migrants, deportees, and those with mental health issues. Today, I thank God for having placed me in my true vocation of service and for allowing me to be his worker day after day\u2026day after day.<\/p>\n\n\n

We firmly believe, with the help of the Holy Spirit, that the Christian Church, the Disciples of Christ, and the United Church of Christ, through Global Ministries, holding hands with Albergue Las Memorias A.C. (Las Memorias Hostel), will continue to generate love and well-being for our populations affected by HIV\/AIDS and tuberculosis, in cooperation with the faithful leaders of our Churches, with the understanding that love creates miracles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las Memorias Hostel (Albergue Las Memorias) is a non-profit civil association based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Founded in 1999, its mission is to provide compassionate, quality care for adults and minors living with HIV\/AIDS and addictions, while also supporting their families and raising awareness through educational programs. Committed to dignity and inclusion, the hostel welcomes individuals regardless of their background, offering free services such as housing, food, medicine, transportation to medical facilities, and self-help sessions. Las Memorias operates without imposing political or religious agendas and is sustained by donations and a mutual aid agreement with the State Government. With a vision to grow and strengthen its outreach, the organization continues to be a vital source of hope, healing, and human solidarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
