Prayers for Brazil<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Sovereign God, we praise and exalt your name for your great love revealed to us in Christ Jesus. We cry out for the people of Brazil, who need your grace, mercy, and salvation, especially for the cities and families where the Evangelical Congregational Church of Brazil has the grace and opportunity to proclaim your Good News. You know the difficulties that Brazilian families face in terms of health, work, and education, so grant your church the grace to be your instrument and have the means to meet their physical and spiritual needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We intercede for the region of Rio Grande do Sul, which is suffering the consequences of the devastating floods that have leveled cities. Thousands of families have lost everything they had and need help, love, and care. Give your church power from on high and the conditions to have the necessary resources to help these people and take care of their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We praise your name for your partnership and for providing aid to so many siblings through Global Ministries and grant wisdom to the Evangelical Congregational Church of Brazil in using the resources received to bring the Gospel to so many families in this country. We know that the mission continues every year, that with your grace and the help of these siblings, more lives will be helped and reached by the Gospel. We thank you in Jesus’ name. \u00a0Amen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission Moment from Brazil<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Evangelical Congregational Church of Brazil, through the missionary movement, has been carrying out Missionary Campaigns for many years to plant and revitalize churches. The support of Global Ministries has been indispensable for opening new congregations, building new church buildings, supporting new workers, and training new pastors in our Seminary. Each year, individuals benefit from this missional accompaniment coming from siblings in Christ we don’t know but who bless lives and churches in our country.<\/p>\n\n\n

In 2024, the Evangelical Congregational Church of Brazil focused more on the state of Rio Grande do Sul, which was largely devastated by the floods at the beginning of May, and thanks to the help of Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ, we were able to bring physical, emotional and spiritual assistance to hundreds of families affected by the floods. In unity, the church mobilized to bring food, hygiene and cleaning supplies, and clothing and helped clean and rebuild homes while sharing the gospel of the grace of the Lord Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, the mission continues, and may God give us the grace to reach and help more people. We are focused on the main goal, which is to share God’s Good News and be God’s instrument for caring for people in all their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
