Global Ministries is saddened by the loss of Bishop Samuel E. Mkhonta. Bishop Mkhonta served as the Bishop of Kukhany\u2019Okusha Zion Church (KZC) in the Kingdom of Eswatini and was the second bishop to serve in this capacity, following Bishop Emeritus Mali Dlamini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bishop Mkhonta served in leadership at Kukhany\u2019Okusha Zion Church for 17 years.  Prior to becoming Bishop, he served as the Pastor of Kukhany\u2019Okusha Zion Church for five years.  He had been a faithful member of Kukhany\u2019Okusha Zion Church since he joined the congregation in the late 1980s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bishop Mkhonta passed away on September 26, 2022, following a long battle with several illnesses. He is survived by his wife, Ntombikayise Dlamini Mkhonta, and six children. Global Ministries holds Kukhany\u2019Okusha Zion Church, the Mkhonta family, and all who have been blessed by Bishop Mkhonta\u2019s ministry and presence in our thoughts and prayers.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
