Ecumenical greetings from the All Africa Conference of Churches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The All Africa Conference of Churches is deeply concerned by the violence and volatile security situation in Sierra Leone where a curfew has been imposed nationwide. The AACC is extremely worried over the increasing tension caused by large crowds of protesters in the streets of Freetown, demonstrating against the daily price rises and economic hardship, throwing rocks and burning tires. The AACC condemns the violence, deplores the loss of lives of innocent people, including security personnel, and calls for order and respect of the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please pray<\/strong> for calm, security, and peace in Sierra Leone and for the government which has been struggling with rising inflation and a fuel crisis to be able to protect and provide for its citizens.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
