Churches are involved in immigration campaigns and question U.S policies regarding the rights and guarantees of this population once they arrive in the country. However, they are also concerned and want to understand, more comprehensively, the social, economic, ecological, political, and cultural issues that cause the phenomenon of migration, particularly from the countries that are part of “the Northern Triangle” (Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador). In that sense, three Global Ministries’ partner organizations in Central America have agreed to speak to the situation in the Northern Triangle and its implications for migratory flows through the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This webinar will be held on May 25th<\/sup>, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM ET. <\/strong>The goals of this webinar are: to reflect on the causes that cause migration in the area of the Northern Triangle in Central America; to present the alternatives and work of Global Ministries partners (Christian Commission for Development in Honduras, the Salvadorian Lutheran Synod, and the Christian Ecumenical Council of Guatemala), and to respond to questions and concerns of the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
