Masses moving – another exodus
<\/span>Beating sun and cloud of dust
Piling hunger and killing thirst
<\/span>Pillars conglomerate my comrades.
<\/span>Carrying ache of restrictive covenants
<\/span>On heavy hearts and heaving hips
The impressive prisoner’s parade
<\/span>The great expanse towards the gloom of Nowheresville!<\/p>\n

Had there been a Red Sea
<\/span>Would have receded in tears
<\/span>Had there been a Jericho
<\/span>Would have tumbled in shame
<\/span>Our Moseses \u2026 oh don\u2019t blame
<\/span>Are making the right use of rods
<\/span>No paucity of spontaneous words
<\/span>And the mass move on to the drudgery of Nowheresville.<\/span><\/p>\n

What about the divine manna?
<\/span>Don\u2019t you know, dainty Hannah
<\/span>What does the infallible scripture say?
<\/span>No work, no food!
<\/span>Where then are the plunder
<\/span>The silver and the gold?
<\/span>Oh dear, are you an alien, inept
<\/span>To deem their doom in the land of Nowheresville?<\/p>\n

Oh they set their minds on high
<\/span>To brave the brutal march
<\/span>To bond with their beloveds
<\/span>Beyond the blurring borders.
<\/span>Onward on the onerous march
<\/span>The rough and rugged route
<\/span>These hapless beings saunter
<\/span>And strive to join kith and kin in domains of Nowheresville!<\/span><\/p>\n

In the grip of misery, they ramble
<\/span>Through grim and grievous track
<\/span>Albeit tough and trying
<\/span>Relentless they plod and slog
The stiff and searing steps
<\/span>At all cost all castes for once
<\/span>Clustered in the clamor\u2026
<\/span>While grateful Kingpins watch them fade into Nowheresville!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh Corona! what you caused is
<\/span>Not a havoc nor a hell but
<\/span>Gandhi\u2019s dream taking shape
<\/span>In the high and the low bonding well!
<\/span>You fattened political purses
<\/span>And flattened infinite houses
Prophesies of \u2018peace\u2019 fulfilled
<\/span>As masses are stilled on the killer track of Nowheresville!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The rough ground leveled by
<\/span>A million legs plodding the path
Rugged terrain turned plain
<\/span>By the pain and the slain
<\/span>Justice has gone down the drain
<\/span>To show mercy is the biggest strain
<\/span>Our bovine and canine get the greatest gain
<\/span>When the poor tussle for a grain in the reign of Nowheresville.<\/p>\n

We truly are the righteous lot
<\/span>Who give humane care for a perilous pet
<\/span>And say \u201cpoor thing\u201d when people rot
<\/span>A wound in a leopard makes us fret
<\/span>A wounded human is seen as a threat
<\/span>O Lord, our apathy we regret
With rue and remorse beset
<\/span>We pray, let the realm of Nowheresville justice beget!<\/span><\/p>\n
